The Comprehensive Plan is our community’s guide for the future of Nelson County. The Plan establishes a shared vision and provides the direction to achieve that vision. It is the County’s most important document for navigating growth, development, and change.

If you would like to attend the public hearings, they will be conducted at the dates and locations below:
Planning Commission: 1/31/2024 at 7:00 PM - Nelson County High School
Board of Supervisors: 3/20/2024 at 7:00 PM - Nelson County High School
If you can not make it to the public hearing but would still like to submit a public comment, you can submit them electronically by emailing them to: ehjulstrom@nelsoncounty.org
