Joint Kickoff Worksession and County Tour
The Joint Kickoff Worksession and County Tour was the official start to the Nelson 2042 Comprehensive Plan update! The Kickoff included a phenomenal tour of the County and a meeting to review the logistics for the update. During the worksession, the group (comprised of members from the Board of Supervisors, Planning Commission, County Staff, and the consultant group hired to help the County update the Plan) reviewed the schedule for the project and engagement opportunities including the public survey, public workshops, stakeholder listening sessions, and the project website. Following that discussion, the findings from the current comprehensive plan diagnostic and key issues facing the County were discussed.
